Just a quick post to all of you for a backgreen meetup on Saturday 10th March at 2pm.

This is to generally chat about who wants to plant what and where and maybe get a few things on the go in pots and do a little tidying. Nothing too strenous involved, unless you have the urge! Hi all,

just a quick site update for anyone who hasn't been out yet.

The veggie patches are coming along and we'll be planting winter crops this week.

The water butt has been mended and is no longer dripping but now we have discovered that the guttering is wonky and the water never makes it to the butt. Another job for the list!

We are meeting up on Tuesday evenings as this seems best for all involved at present

This week will be my last week as Community Officer, and Greig has already switched over to a voluntary role at the organisation, so there will no longer be an ECBA staff team, at least in the short to medium term future. This change is partly due to the fact that we did not receive a Climate…

This Wednesday (11th May) at 6pm, some folk will be meeting to walk around the neighbourhood and visit the Community Backgreen sites of Gorgie Dalry, and get a wee introduction from a resident at each of the

sites

We will be meeting at the Caleys site at 6pm (the meet point is 10 Caledonian Crescent) before moving on to look at other sites in the area, ending with Wheatfield (the original Community

We have confirmed a date for the workshop: Wednesday 4th May, 6PM - 9PM.  We haven't confirmed the venue just yet, but it will be somewhere easy to get to in the local area.  The idea behind this training will
